About the Vidhyasamunnathi Scholarship

The Kerala State Welfare Corporation for Forward Communities Limited (KSWCFC) invites applications for the 'Vidhyasamunnathi' Merit Scholarship, providing financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students from forward communities. Scholarships are available for High School, Higher Secondary, Diploma/Certificate courses, Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Degree, CA/CMA/CS, and Research programs. The Coaching Assistance scheme, which provides financial assistance for competitive exam training, is also open for applications.

The Samunnathi Scholarship is an initiative of the KSWCFC. The KSWCFC has issued the notification for online registration for this scholarship. KSWCFC introduced this scholarship for economically backward students in forwarding communities. Samunnathi scholarship is available from high school level to postgraduate students.

Eligibility Criteria

General Requirements

• Applicants must belong to non-reserved categories in Kerala State.
• Only those studying in government/aided institutions in Kerala can apply.
• Applicants must register compulsorily in web site.
• Applications must be submitted separately each year. Applications submitted in previous years for financial assistance for the year under consideration will not be considered.
• The applicant's family annual income from all sources should not exceed four lakh (4,00,000/-) rupees.
• The family annual income certificate must be in the name of a person who is a member of the ration card containing the applicants (applicant's/father's/mother's/guardian's). (Individual annual income certificate will not be accepted).
• A copy of pages 1 and 2 of the ration card containing the applicants should be uploaded along with the application.
• Applications must be sent online. When applying online, the documents required for each scheme must be scanned and sent along with the application.
• Those who have received scholarships in previous years should also apply afresh as there is no scholarship renewal.
• Students applying for the scholarship must have an active/valid account in any branch of Nationalized/Scheduled Banks.
• Scholarship amount is distributed to the beneficiaries as per the availability of funds, giving priority to those in the low-income category.
• Financial assistance will only be available to the active bank account mentioned in the online application and in the name of the applying students. Applicants are solely responsible for miscredit due to errors in recording the bank account number /non-functioning /invalidity of the bank accounts provided.
• Even minor errors in the online application can lead to rejection of the application, so the application submission procedures should be completed with utmost care. Only certificates submitted in the format available on the website will be accepted.
• Applications with false information, unclear documents uploaded, and incomplete applications will be rejected upon verification. Subsequent complaints will not be entertained.
• Students receiving other scholarships/stipends from Central/State Governments, except E-Grants, are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. If false information is recorded in the application in this regard, the amount available for the scholarship must be repaid with 12% compound interest. The student is then ineligible to apply for the scholarship in the future.
• Make sure that all the information (including documents) as per the guidelines is available before submitting the online application.
• Those who have submitted the online application do not need to send copies of the application and documents to the Kerala State Forward Communities Welfare Corporation by post.
• The Corporation's decision regarding the granting of scholarship is final. Appeals regarding this will not be accepted.

What is the Kerala E-Grants Scholarship?

Kerala E-Grants 3.0 is an online centralized system for distributing scholarships/schemes to all Pre-Matric and Post-Matric students in the SC, ST, OBC communities in Kerala.

This system is an integrated online software solution for distributing various educational assistance schemes of the Scheduled Castes Development Department. Beneficiaries of any educational assistance scheme must first register by providing basic information such as name, address, date of birth, gender, mobile number, bank account details, and Aadhar number. Such registered students can apply for various schemes through the same application.

With a single registration, the system can uniquely identify a student, and these basic details will be used to distribute educational assistance throughout the educational period under various schemes. If the student cannot apply online, there will be a provision for institutions to submit the applications. Financial assistance reaches the students' bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

E-Grantz 3.0 Student Registration Process

1. All applicants must visit the official website home page for registration.
2. On the home page, you will find the "One Time Registration" option; click on it.
3. After clicking this option, a new page will open on your computer screen.
4. Now, you need to fill it out correctly and record your registration number.
5. Then, you need to log in to the portal.
6. After logging in to the portal, you must fill out the application form.
7. Upload all the required documents.
8. Finally, click on the Submit button to submit your application and take a printout of your application.

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship

According to the CBSE merit scholarship scheme, applications are open online until October 23 for the 2025 single girl child Class 10 scholarship.

Applications can also be submitted now for renewal of last year's scholarship. Detailed information and guidelines of the scholarship scheme, including eligibility criteria and how to apply, can be found on the CBSE website.

Those who have passed the tenth-class examination this year with no less than 70 percent marks and are studying in the 11th class in CBSE affiliated schools can apply for the scholarship.

Guardians must have a single girl child. The scholarship is for a maximum of two years to encourage excellent children in their studies. Scholarships are available for studies in classes 11 and 12. This academic year, the monthly tuition fee should not exceed Rs 2500 (the tuition fee should not exceed Rs 3000 in classes 11 and 12). The monthly tuition fee for children belonging to the NRI category can be up to Rs 6000. The annual family income should be less than eight lakh rupees.

Those who received the scholarship in 2024 must submit a renewal application in 2025 to continue to be awarded the scholarship. Must have scored more than 70 percent marks in the 11th class examination.

Scholarship amount: Those selected on merit basis will get a scholarship of Rs 1000 per month. Visit the website for more details and updates.

How to Apply for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship

• Visit the CBSE website
• Click ‘Single girl child scholarship REG’
• Click on the designated scholarship application link
• In the new tab, select the type of application: new or renewal.
• Now click on SGC-X Fresh Application or Renewal
• Fill out the application form and upload the details
• Submit the single girl child scholarship application and download the form for future reference
• Under the Single Girl Child Scholarship scheme, students will receive Rs 500 per month. The monthly tuition fee should not exceed Rs 1,500 per month in 10th class and a 10 percent increase in 11th and 12th classes.

പഠനമികവുളള കേരളീയരായ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ക്കായി രവി പിളള ഫൗണ്ടേഷന്‍ സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സ്ഥാപനമായ നോര്‍ക്ക റൂട്ട്സ് വഴി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന രവി പിളള അക്കാദമിക് എക്സലൻസ് സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ് പദ്ധതിയിലെ ആദ്യ ബാച്ചിലേയ്ക്ക് ഒക്ടോബർ 10 വരെ അപേക്ഷിക്കാം. ഹയര്‍സെക്കൻഡറി തലത്തില്‍ സ്റ്റേറ്റ് സിലബസ്സില്‍ 950 പേര്‍ക്കും CBSE യില്‍ 100 ഉം ICSE യില്‍ 50 ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ 1100 വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ക്ക് അന്‍പതിനായിരം രൂപയുടേയും, ഡിഗ്രി (ഒരു ലക്ഷം രൂപ വീതം), പോസ്റ്റ് ഗ്രാജുവേറ്റ് തലത്തില്‍ (ഒന്നേകാല്‍ ലക്ഷം രൂപ വിതം) 200 വീതം വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ക്കും ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ 1500 പേര്‍ക്കാണ് ഓരോ വര്‍ഷവും സ്കോളര്‍ഷിപ്പ് ലഭിക്കുക. സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പ് പദ്ധതിയുടെ പൊതു മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങള്‍ക്കും നിബന്ധനകള്‍ക്കും അപേക്ഷ നല്‍കുന്നതിനും rpscholarship.norkaroots.kerala.gov.in സന്ദര്‍ശിക്കുക. ഓണ്‍ലൈനായി മാത്രമേ അപേക്ഷകള്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കൂ. അപൂര്‍ണ്ണമായ അപേക്ഷകള്‍ നിരസിക്കുന്നതാണ്.

സംസ്‌ഥാനത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വിപുലമായ സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ് പദ്ധതിക്കാണ് രവി പിളള അക്കാദമിക് എക്സലൻസ് സ്കോളർഷിപ്പിലൂടെ തുടക്കമാകുന്നതെന്ന് നോർക്ക റൂട്ട്സ് റസിഡന്റ് വൈസ് ചെയർമാൻ പി. ശ്രീരാമകൃഷ്‌ണൻ. പഠനമികവുളള കേരളീയരായ വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്കായുളള രവി പിളള അക്കാദമിക് എക്സലൻസ് സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ് പദ്ധതിയുടെ വെബ്സൈറ്റ് പ്രകാശനം ചെയ്ത്‌ സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. പദ്ധതിയിലെ ആദ്യ ബാച്ചിലേക്ക് വിദ്യാഥികൾക്ക് വെബ്സൈറ്റ് സന്ദർശിച്ച് സെപ്റ്റംബർ 30 നകം അപേക്ഷ നൽകാം. സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ് പദ്ധതിയുടെ പൊതു മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങളും നിബന്ധനകളും വെബ്സൈറ്റിൽ ലഭ്യമാണ്.

ഹയർസെക്കൻഡറി തലത്തിൽ സ്‌റ്റേറ്റ് സിലബസിൽ 950 പേർക്കുംസിബിഎസ്ഇയിൽ 100 ഉം ഐസിഎസ്ഇയിൽ 50 ഉം ഉൾപ്പെടെ 1100 വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് അൻപതിനായിരം രൂപയുടേയും, ഡിഗ്രി (ഒരു ലക്ഷം രൂപ വീതം), പോസ്റ്റ് ഗ്രാജുവേറ്റ് തലത്തിൽ (ഒന്നേകാൽ ലക്ഷം രൂപ വിതം) 200 വീതം വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്കും ഉൾപ്പെടെ 1500 പേർക്കാണ് ഓരോ വർഷവും സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ് ലഭിക്കുക. ഓരോ വിഭാഗത്തിലും 20 ശതമാനം സ്കോളർഷിപ്പുകൾ വിദേശ രാജ്യത്തുളള പ്രവാസി കേരളീയരുടെ (പ്രവാസി ഐ.ഡി കാർഡ് നിർബന്ധം) മക്കൾക്കും അഞ്ചു ശതമാനം ഭിന്നശേഷിയുള്ള വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്കും നീക്കിവച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

അപേക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള യോഗ്യത/നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ:

• നിലവിൽ +1 ഇൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കും ഡിഗ്രി 1,2 വർഷങ്ങളിൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കും PG രണ്ടാം വർഷം പഠിക്കുന്ന വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കും ആണ് അപേക്ഷിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുക.
• കുടുംബ വാർഷിക വരുമാനം 2.5 ലക്ഷം രൂപയിൽ താഴെ ആയിരിക്കണം.
• കേരളത്തിന് അകത്തോ പുറത്തോ പഠിക്കുന്ന കേരളീയർക്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്.
• +1 വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ SSLC ഇൽ മുഴുവൻ വിഷയങ്ങളിലും A+ ഓ CBSE, ICSE വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ 90% മാർക്കോ നേടിയിരിക്കണം.
• +2 ഇൽ 85% ഇൽ അധികം മാർക്ക് നേടിയ വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്കാണ് ഡിഗ്രി തലത്തിൽ അപേക്ഷിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുക.
• PG തലത്തിൽ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനായി സയൻസ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ ഡിഗ്രി തലത്തിൽ 80% മാർക്കും ആർട്സ്, കോമേഴ്‌സ്,ലോ, മാനേജ്മെന്റ്,മെഡിക്കൽ, ടെക്നിക്കൽ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ 75% മാർക്കും ബിരുദ തലത്തിൽ നേടിയിരിക്കണം.
• ഒരു കുടുംബത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പരമാവധി രണ്ട് പേർക്കേ സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ് അനുവദിക്കുകയുള്ളു.
