The notification for the 2025-26 academic year is available. Students can apply online starting October 13th. The deadline for applications is October 27th.
About the Scholarship
The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship exam identifies eligible students for the NMMS scholarship program, implemented by the Ministry of Education. Students studying in 8th grade in government and aided schools are eligible to apply. There is no fee to apply for the NMMS exam.
Successful candidates will receive a scholarship in classes 9, 10, +1, and +2. The scholarship amount is ₹12000 per year.
Required Documents
- Aadhar card
- Passport size photograph (taken within the last 6 months)
- Income certificate (annual income should not exceed ₹3.5 lakhs)
- Caste certificate (only for SC/ST category)
- Disability certificate (for differently-abled students with 40% or more disability)
- Active mobile number and email address
