About the NMMSE Exam
The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMSE) exam is for students studying in the eighth grade.
Important Dates
The deadline to apply for the Means-cum-Merit Scholarship exam has been extended to November 1, 2025.
The last date for schools to submit the completed applications is November 7, 2025, by 5 PM.
Eligibility
Students studying in the 8th class in Government and Aided schools are eligible to apply for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam.
Scholarship Details
Successful candidates will receive a scholarship in classes 9, 10, +1, and +2. The scholarship amount is ₹12000 per year.
Required Documents
- Aadhar Card
- Passport size photograph (taken within the last 6 months)
- Income Certificate (annual income should not exceed ₹3.5 lakhs)
- Caste Certificate (only for SC/ST category)
- Disability Certificate (for differently-abled children with a disability of 40% or more)
- Active mobile number and email address
