Ibrahim Sulaiman Setu Urdu Scholarship
Scholarship Overview
As part of the promotion of the Urdu language, the Department of Minority Welfare is inviting applications for the Ibrahim Sulaiman Setu Urdu Scholarship for the academic year 2023-24. This scholarship provides a cash award to students in the state who have secured A+ grade in all subjects in the SSLC examination by taking Urdu as the first language, or who have secured A+ in all subjects in the Higher Secondary section by taking Urdu as the second language.
This scholarship is exclusively for students who are permanent residents of Kerala and studying within the state. The scholarship award is ₹1000. Students receiving other scholarships are also eligible to apply.
Application Procedure
How to Apply
1. Visit the Department of Minority Welfare's website and click on the Urdu Scholarship link.
2. Click on "Apply online".
3. If you have previously registered for other scholarships, log in using those details.
4. Fill in the Registration form, entering details in the Examination details (enter your tenth-grade register number in the register no/roll number field), personal details, and Scholarship details tabs step by step.
5. In the Upload details tab, upload your Photo, Signature, SSLC Certificate, Income Certificate, and Ration Card Copy. Ensure each file is less than 100 KB.
6. After submitting the scholarship application, click "View/Print Application" to print the registration form.
7. Submit the printed registration form along with the required documents (listed below) to the head of the institution where you last studied.

Documents to be Submitted
1. Printout of the application registration.
2. Copy of SSLC, Plus Two mark lists.
3. Copy of the first page of the applicant's own bank passbook (containing name, account number, branch code, and branch address).
