GNM/ANM Admission - Overview
Applications are invited for admission to General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) courses for the academic year 2025-26 in Kerala.
Application Details
Online applications can be submitted from August 5, 2025, to August 20, 2025, for both GNM and ANM courses.
A single online application is sufficient for applying to either or both GNM and ANM courses.
Eligibility Criteria
GNM Course
Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary examination conducted by the Kerala Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 40% marks.
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology should be optional subjects in the qualifying examination, with English as a compulsory subject.
In the absence of candidates with the above qualifications, those who have passed the Higher Secondary examination from other streams may be considered.
ANM Course
Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary examination conducted by the Kerala Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination.
Must be able to read and write Malayalam.
Application Fee
General Category
- GNM only: Rs. 400
- GNM & ANM: Rs. 600
- ANM only: Rs. 300
SC/ST Category
- GNM only: Rs. 200
- GNM & ANM: Rs. 300
- ANM only: Rs. 150
The application fee can be paid online or through a challan downloaded from the website and paid at any branch of Federal Bank from August 5, 2025, to August 20, 2025.
Relevant documents must be uploaded during the online application submission.
