Vehicle Owners Must Update Mobile Number in Parivahan
The Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) is urging vehicle owners to update their Aadhaar-linked mobile numbers on the Parivahan website. This can now be done online.
Importance of Updating Your Mobile Number
It is recommended that driving license holders and registered vehicle owners ensure that their mobile numbers are updated in the Vahan and Sarathi portals. This helps keep records accurate and up-to-date. You can now update your mobile number online without visiting the RTO.
All services provided to the public by the Motor Vehicle Department are becoming Aadhaar-based. As part of this, the Motor Vehicle Department has informed all vehicle owners that they must update their Aadhaar-linked mobile number on the Parivahan website.
MVD has issued a warning stating that Aadhaar-linked mobile numbers must be updated on the Parivahan site.

- Chassis Number (Full)
- Engine Number (Full)
- Registration Date
- Registration/Fitness Valid Upto Date
- Aadhaar Number linked with the mobile number (for OTP)
