The application process for the 2026 Hajj, facilitated by the State Hajj Committee, commenced on July 7th and was initially set to conclude on July 31st. The deadline has been extended to August 7th due to high interest.
Application Statistics
As of yesterday, the state had received 20,978 applications. This includes 4112 applicants over 65 years of age, 2817 in the Ladies Without Mehram category, and 13,255 in the General Category. 793 individuals from last year's waiting list have been given priority. Additionally, 2186 applications have been received for the newly introduced 20-day Hajj package.
Passport Assistance
Individuals awaiting passport issuance are advised to contact the Passport Office Nodal Officer for expedited processing. Application verification and cover number allocation are currently underway for completed submissions.

The Central Hajj Committee has announced that online Hajj application submissions for the upcoming 2026 Hajj season will begin shortly.

- Applicants need to upload scanned copies of the passport's first and last pages, address proof, and other supporting documents during the online application.
- Applicants interested in a shorter Hajj package should indicate this preference in their application.

Document Submission
- Selected applicants are required to submit the downloaded Hajj application form and other supporting documents after the draw. These documents must be submitted directly to the State Hajj Committee within the timeframe specified by the Central Hajj Committee. An initial payment of INR 1,50,000 is required, and the payment receipt must be submitted with the application.
